Companies that say they sponsor H-1B in their job postings
Most lists of H-1B sponsors are built from old filings. This one is built from what employers write today. Of 1,403 US employers on Greenhouse, Workday and Ashby, only 25 have a posting that says in plain words that they sponsor visas, and 10 of them do it often enough to be worth knowing by name.

The short answer
- of 1,403 employers state sponsorship in at least one posting
- 25
- employers have at least one posting that rules sponsorship out
- 258
- of the employers in the table below are small employers on Ashby
- 7 of 10
A written sponsorship line is rare and it clusters. The employers that say it most often are small startups hiring in San Francisco and New York, usually through Ashby. A few large employers say it too, but only on some postings.
This is not a list of every company that has ever filed an H-1B petition. Many large employers sponsor every year and write nothing about it in the posting. Treat the list below as the employers who tell you up front, and use filing records for the rest.
The employers that say it most
We kept employers with at least 10 US postings in the window and ranked them by the share of their postings that state sponsorship. The table shows the ten with the highest counts of such postings or the highest shares.
| Employer | ATS | Postings | State sponsorship | Share |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Conduct (London and New York) | Ashby | 24 | 19 | 79% |
| Profound | Ashby | 12 | 8 | 67% |
| Thinking Machines | Ashby | 61 | 36 | 59% |
| Exa | Ashby | 57 | 28 | 49% |
| fal | Ashby | 37 | 18 | 49% |
| Clera | Ashby | 29 | 14 | 48% |
| Reflection | Ashby | 54 | 23 | 43% |
| Anthropic | Greenhouse | 832 | 119 | 14% |
| Verkada | Greenhouse | 368 | 42 | 11% |
| Jump Trading | Greenhouse | 120 | 11 | 9% |
Five more employers with at least 20 postings state it on one or a few: Evolutioniq, Neuberger Berman, IXL Learning, Latitude AI and Vanguard. For those, one posting saying yes is a data point, not a policy.
How to read the list
- A high share means a template. When 19 of 24 postings say the same thing, the employer put it in its standard job description. That is the strongest signal in this data.
- A low share at a big employer is mixed. Anthropic states it in 119 of 832 postings and rules it out in 16 others. Verkada states it in 42 and rules it out in 32. The answer depends on the role, so read the one you are applying to.
- Some say yes and no. Clera states sponsorship in 14 of its 29 postings, and our scan also found at least one posting from the same company that says sponsorship is not available. The restriction label can miss a "Visa sponsorship: not available" line, so treat the share as an upper bound there.
- Wording is not a promise. Thinking Machines writes that it sponsors visas and in the next sentence that it cannot guarantee success for every candidate. That is honest, and it is the normal case.
What we counted
OfferMagnet reads postings straight from company careers pages on Greenhouse, Workday and Ashby. We kept US postings first seen between 19 September and 17 October 2026 and set aside the three employers with the most postings, as in our visa sponsorship study. That leaves 69,733 postings from 1,403 employers.
A posting counts as stating sponsorship when it says the employer sponsors, offers or supports visa sponsorship, H-1B or O-1, in a sentence with no negation. "We do not sponsor H-1B" and "must be authorized to work without sponsorship" do not count. "Company sponsored conferences" does not count either.
What to do with this
- Apply first to employers that say it on every posting. For a visa-dependent search, that is where the written position and the template agree.
- For a large employer, filter by role, not by company. The same company writes yes in one posting and no in another.
- Check filing records for the employers that stay silent. The US government publishes H-1B employer data, which shows who has actually filed.
- Ask in the first call. "Which visa types has this team supported?" takes ten seconds and settles it.
FAQ
›Is this a list of companies that sponsor H-1B visas?
It is a list of employers that say so in their job postings. Many employers sponsor without writing it. For a full picture, combine this with the H-1B employer filing data the US government publishes.
›Why are most of the employers startups?
Small employers write their own job descriptions and often put visa policy in them. Large employers use legal templates that rarely state it, or place it near the end of the posting.
›Does a company that sponsors in one posting sponsor in all of them?
Not necessarily. Anthropic and Verkada both state sponsorship in some postings and rule it out in others. Check the posting you are applying to.
›How often does this update?
We re-read postings continuously and will refresh the list with the next full snapshot. This version covers postings first seen 19 September to 17 October 2026.
Method and sources
- Source: OfferMagnet's own index of public job postings read from company careers pages on Greenhouse, Workday and Ashby. 69,733 US postings from 1,403 employers, after setting aside the three with the most postings.
- Sponsorship statements are matched on the first 4,000 characters of each posting, with negations excluded. This is a floor: wording later in the text, or phrased unusually, is missed.
- Restrictions use fixed phrase matching on the full text and can miss a "Label: not available" format.
- Employers with fewer than 10 postings in the window are left out of the ranking. Two non-US-based employers that appeared in the first pass were removed. We report counts of postings, not people, and use no applicant or customer data.
